Great Place for Re-upholstery in Tempe

About a month ago, my parents helped me score these 2 awesome chairs for just $50 from a used furniture store in north Phoenix. They were the exact shape I was looking for and could easily be turned into an "Anthropolgie-esque" set for far less money.

I wound up with some great fabric from the Fabric Depot on Cave Creek Road at Bell on sale and with some help from By The Yard in Tempe at McClintock and Warner, we ended up with this as the finished product!

I am completely in love!  The team at By The Yard did a wonderful job with the upholstery and to say I am pleased with the end result is an understatement!  I know sometimes people have a hard time with the vision to see what something as ugly as these chairs could be turned into something so awesome.  All I have to say is thank god for Anthropologie and Pinterest.

Residents Fishing on Flag Day at Power Ranch

Flag Day at Power Ranch!  A group of community members get up bright and early and decorate the community on the American holidays with large American Flags.  These residents volunteer and place flags at the entrances to the community as well as the Barn and the Ranch House Clubhouses.

It is a warm, summer day here in Power Ranch, Gilbert and there are many residents out fishing, swimming, biking and enjoying their summer.

Power Ranch Bingo Night

Power Ranch has begun hosting a Bingo night beginning June, 14th.  Pizza and soda will be provided at the Barn in Power Ranch from 6:30 until the food runs out.  Bingo will begin at 7:00 and last until 9:00 and cost $3.00 per person to play.  Register with Lisa Capriotti with the Power Ranch Community Association.
